Hi! I am Arts student doing my major in the subject of history. I am in my second semester of college and I have been asked by my teacher to write an article of 10,000 words on “Evolution of Arts and its historical importance.” For that, I have to set up my computer in a way that it gets easier for me to search stuff, store stuff, and sort stuff out. I will be needing some powerful and multifunctional tools, which will find sources, organize and store them, also manage the journals, research papers, essays, and generate footnotes, end notes and reference pages. Since I will be taking a lot of references from other sources like books, articles, etc., I will have to cite them. I am totally unaware about how to cite. My teacher is very particular about the referencing and I have seen students failing in exams because they did not bother to cite their work. Last time when I was asked to write an essay, I did not cite my work properly and got plenty of marks deducted because of wrong citing of sources. After that I searched for citation generators that claims to help users to cite their sources instantly in few seconds, when I tried citing it, I got to know they were paid citation generators. I searched for free ama citation generator and failed to find any that provide citations free of cost. I need to know about the softwares tools and workflows that will help me in writing my article.
